History

Toni & Guy is a global hairdressing and education business founded in London, United Kingdom in 1963 by brothers Giuseppe (Toni) and Gaetano (Guy) Mascolo. They were later joined by younger brothers Bruno and Anthony. There are more than 400 salons in the organization and it has won over 50 British Hairdressing Awards including Best British Artistic Team a record (11 times), British Hairdresser of the Year three times, Newcomer of the Year seven times - Toni's daughter Sacha won the title at 19 years of age, the youngest person even to win this award, Sacha went on to win London Hairdresser of the Year in 1999 and nominated twice for British Hairdresser of the Year. Sacha is Global Creative Director and her husband James Tarbuck is Global Brand Director.

It has its own client magazine and in-salon television station ‘TONI&GUY.TV’ the brainchild of James Tarbuck, as well as salons and academies around the world in the UK, Ireland
