In August 2009, a meeting of around 50 members of Shawish family in Jordan was held at A'dnan Shawish house in Amman. The meeting aimed at improving connections among family members in Jordan and initiated regular meetings, hosted at one of the family houses every month. A family website, foundations for family union and family financial support box were some of the results from these meetings. A committee of family members was elected to manage family union affairs.Occupation
