('cold-sleep') research. Learning about this, Anna volunteers to be another test subject, requesting that she be woken in the future at the same time as Nina. Her reasons for doing so remain ambiguous, though the game suggests that Anna would have felt lonely without Nina and/or jealous at the thought of her sister's youth being preserved.

In Tekken 3, Anna is awakened at the same time as her sister, eighteen years after the second tournament, but she does not fall under Ogre's influence like Nina does. Nina also begins to suffer side effects from the 'cold-sleep', resulting in long term memory loss. In an act of compassion, Anna sets out to stop Nina from once again becoming an assassin, and to help her recover her memory loss. For reasons unknown, Nina eventually resumes her life as an assassin and loses touch with Anna.

Unfortunately, when Nina decides to contact Anna in hopes of restoring her memory, their meeting triggers Nina's lost feelings of hostility towards her sister, and she immediately opens fire. Anna retaliates, and the reunion descends into a gunfight which lasts for days. The sisters eventually reach a stalemate and agree to settle things for good at The King of Iron Fist Tournament 5. The two eventually meet and fight, but Nina wins and quickly goes into hiding after the tournament's conclusion.

Anna, longing for revenge, hears rumors that Nina has become the bodyguard of Jin Kazama, the new head of the Mishima Zaibatsu, so Anna decides to join forces with G Corporation. She enters the sixth Iron Fist tournament to intercept her sister, who enters with the same intent as Anna.

Armor King

was a rival of King's when the latter was still an inexperienced wrestler. One of his eyes accidentally got damaged during a fight with King. Armor King eventually disappeared from the official Lucha libre scene but showed unrivaled prowess in shady fights.

When his rival and friend King ran away, choosing the path of the drunkard, Armor King became worried and intervened just in time, as King was at the edge of a breakdown. Finding King distraught and drunk in an alleyway, he convinced him to get back into the spirit of fighting and enter the second tournament.

Years later, King was attacked and killed by Ogre. However, Armor King saw a new fighter with a jaguar mask step into the wrestling ring in order to save the orphanage, and decided to train him to become the second King.

, Ganryu opened a sumo stable and worked as a trainer to other sumo wrestlers. He did this to finally forget about Michelle. One day, while watching a televised showing of the King of Iron Fist Tournament 4, he spotted Julia Chang as one of the competitors. Remarking how much she looked like his old crush, Michelle, Ganryu decided to enter the fifth tournament, convinced that he would win Julia's heart if he recovered her lost Forest Rejuvenation Data.

During the King of Iron Fist Tournament 5, Ganryu lost his way. By accident, he entered the lab of the Mishima Zaibatsu and found the Forest Rejuvenation data—the very data that Julia Chang was searching for. With it in hand, he hoped to finally be able to propose to Julia and make her his wife. However, during their meeting, Julia received the disc and left before Ganryu got the chance to propose. Putting the episode behind him, Ganryu moved to Hawaii and opened a restaurant, Chanko Paradise. However, the management was poor and the restaurant was not getting anywhere. Knowing that another The King of Iron Fist Tournament was being held, Ganryu decided to enter in hopes of advertising his restaurant.

He appears briefly in the 2011 CGI Movie Tekken Blood Vengeance as a teacher (presumably PE) in Ling Xiayo's school. He was voiced by Hidenari Ugaki.

Jack

is a series of androids created by the Mishima Zaibatsu and G Corporation for different purposes:
  • Jack is the original model, and was created by the Mishima Zaibatsu in order to counter a coup from Kazuya Mishima in the King of Iron Fist Tournament.
  • Prototype Jack is a prototype created to combat both Jack and Jack-2. This is also the only Jack to fight in more than one tournament.
  • Jack-2 is the upgrade of Jack, also created by the Mishima Zaibatsu. One of these models, while on a battlefront, witnesses a young girl named Jane lose her mother, and takes it upon himself to look after her until he is destroyed by Dr. Abel.
  • Gun Jack is a more advanced prototype of the android, created by Jane in an attempt to revive her friend, Jack-2. While she is successful in implanting Jack-2's memories inside him, he is destroyed by gunfire by the Tekken Forces after he and Jane attempt to break into the Mishima Zaibatsu labs.
  • Jack-4 is an upgrade of Gun Jack, created by G Corporation. While these never participated in any tournament, they were sent by G Corporation to kill Kazuya Mishima after they no longer needed him, and the subsequent battle in Hon-Maru almost resulted in the death of Heihachi Mishima. These specific models have a self-destruct device embedded in them, indicated when one of them peels away its face to reveal a countdown.
  • Jack-5 is an upgrade of Jack-4, created by Jane to participate in the King of Iron Fist Tournament 5. His fate is currently unknown.
  • Jack-6 is an upgrade of Jack-5, created by G Corporation with the mission of destroying the Mishima Zaibatsu in the King of Iron Fist Tournament 6.

However, he loses to Paul in both tournaments, and shortly after, he dies of old age, leaving behind a young cub, who becomes a bodyguard in his place for Heihachi. The second Kuma is the son of the first Kuma. Raised and trained in the Mishima style of fighting arts, learning of his father's defeat, Kuma Jr. decides to train with his master and enter The King of Iron Fist Tournament 3. He succeeds, and he quickly returns home in triumph. Now learning that Jinpachi Mishima has taken over the Mishima Zaibatsu, Kuma once again takes his role of the loyal pet, vowing to return the syndicate to Heihachi by entering the King of Iron Fist Tournament 5, but he is defeated by Paul. After the death of his former master, Heihachi Mishima, Kuma believed no one but he could rescue the Mishima Financial Group (MFG) from its captor. Eager to do just that, Kuma confronted the MFG. However, the MFG's new CEO, Jin Kazama, was waiting. Kuma was easily beaten and discarded in the Hokkaido wilderness. Though defeated, his fighting spirit was not lost and he found his former master Heihachi.

. She stayed with the group for a few months, until a series of petty thefts from the band's funds led to her dismissal. At a loose end, she decided to train as a mechanic mending air conditioners. She entered the first King of Iron Fist Tournament intending to steal a Native American treasure from a young brave Michelle Chang. Kunimitsu, fearing the wrath of the vengeful Michelle, went into hiding.

Feeling humiliated, Kunimitsu sought solace with her grandfather. He was a swordsmith with a reputation. He informed Kunimitsu that the sword used by Yoshimitsu is a relic of unimaginable value. She learned that it was handed down through the Manji band and it had the power to sever an enemy both spiritually and mentally. The sword exchanges hands when a new leader is elected. The old leader is ritually sacrificed and the sword's power is transferred to its new owner. Kunimitsu's grandfather has spent his entire existence trying to forge a copy of the sword. Kunimitsu had to enter the second tournament to face and defeat Yoshimitsu and claim the sword so that her grandfather could make a copy before his death. Her fate, however, is unknown as she has not made an canonical appearance since Tekken 2. It could be speculated that she was also attacked by Ogre, as Ogre has a few of her moves in Tekken 3 (Deadly Slice, Deadly Slash).

's adopted son. Lee's parents died when he was a young child, leaving him to fend for himself on the streets. Facing a hostile environment each day, Lee quickly became a skilled scrapper with reflexes that were amazing for a boy of his age. It was these qualities that caught the eye of Heihachi, who witnessed Lee fighting off several other kids while on a business trip. Impressed by his natural ability, Heihachi decided to adopt Lee, and took him back to Japan to be educated. It is not known if he actually felt any emotion towards the orphan; it has been suggested that he simply raised him to replace his blood son Kazuya, whom he had at first considered to be too weak to inherit the Zaibatsu. Another possibility is that Heihachi wanted to give Kazuya a rival to inspire him to shape up.

, Heihachi sent Lee to the U.S. to handle the Mishima Zaibatsu's operations there, and to continue his business education. While Heihachi trained Kazuya in the art of Mishima Style Fighting Karate, Lee studied with Paul Phoenix and Marshall Law in the U.S. This is the reason for some of the moves that Lee shares with Paul Phoenix and Marshall Law.

When Kazuya took the Zaibatsu from Heihachi, Lee decided to work with his brother. Considering the rather demeaning position he received (is known by Kazuya as his secretary), it can be assumed that he did so only to be in a good position to overthrow Kazuya should the chance present itself. Lee was known to be the boss of Kazuya's cadre of personal bodyguards (Anna Williams, Bruce Irvin, Ganryu), and he also supervised Doctor Boskonovitch's projects for creating the ultimate military animal for Kazuya.

Lee fought in the second King of Iron Fist Tournament, his intention being to snatch the Zaibatsu from Kazuya. However, Heihachi returned from his supposed demise and defeated both Lee and Kazuya; he threw the latter into the mouth of an active volcano, and banished his adopted son from any aspect of his life or the Zaibatsu on the threat of death. Lee remained in Japan for a time afterwards, plotting to assassinate Heihachi as an act of retribution. However, he eventually came to the epiphany that it was a waste to murder an old man, who probably had only a few more years to live anyways. Thus, he left for America once again, and began setting the foundations for his longtime ambition: a robotics

, Lee is a successful businessman and C.E.O. of his now flourishing robotics corporation. He lives his days behind the sun-bathed walls of his Bahamas mansion, dividing his time between trading stocks online and simply relaxing, seemingly without a care in the world. Then one day, he discovered a huge selloff of G Corporation's stock online; he would soon learn that it was triggered by an attack on its main research lab by the Mishima Zaibatsu's Tekken Force. Days later, the King of Iron Fist Tournament 4 was announced. Lee sensed that something is amiss, but at the same time his fading passion for fighting was rekindled, along with his fierce resentment for the Mishima clan. He decided to enter the tournament. As a precaution that the Zaibatsu would not figure out his identity too early, he entered online under the name "Violet", dyed his silver hair purple and donned a pair of sunglasses.

It is suggested that Lee was rather successful and made it to the later phases of the tournament. However, he was shocked to see that his next opponent was none other than Kazuya, who was resurrected by G Corporation many years ago. Losing his focus, Lee was defeated by his foster brother, who would go on to face Heihachi. Lee's final fight is against Combot, making him one of the few characters for which Heihachi isn't the boss.

In the confusion surrounding the death of Heihachi, Lee was scheming to take over the Mishima Zaibatsu but was enraged when he learned that someone else had already beat him to it. Lee, believing it was Kazuya who usurped the Mishima Zaibatsu, was vexed that Kazuya had once again stood in his way. A month later, the King of Iron Fist Tournament 5 was announced and Lee immediately decided to enter. Lee was determined to settle the score with Kazuya in the tournament and claim the Mishima Zaibatsu.

Lee took part in the King of Iron Fist Tournament 5 in order to take revenge on Kazuya Mishima. However, the one who had opened the tournament was not Kazuya, but Jinpachi Mishima, and Lee, after learning this fact, lost interest in the tournament and returned to his mansion in the Bahamas. Soon afterwards, the MFG, led by Jin Kazama brought the world to chaos, and around the same time G Corporation became a major opposition. Surprised by G Corporation's sudden military action, Lee, being a major shareholder, conducted a private investigation with the utmost secrecy and discovered that Kazuya had become the real power behind G Corporation's actions. After obtaining information that the King of Iron Fist Tournament 6 would be held, Lee knew that Kazuya himself would take part in this tournament. He used a shareholder's preferential treatment ticket and entered the tournament in order to get close to Kazuya.

Lee appears briefly in the 2011 CGI film Tekken: Blood Vengeance  as a overzealous, eccentric and often ignored yet extremely wealthy teacher at Kyoto International School. He aids Alisa and Ling Xiaoyu during an escape by providing them shelter and seems nonchalant when his home was destroyed by Anna and Nina Williams' fight.

Marshall Law

is a Chinese American who fights using various martial arts. Sometimes known as "The Fighting Chef," he is a close friend of Paul Phoenix, and he is the father of Forest Law.

25-year-old Marshall enters the first King of Iron Fist Tournament in order to gain enough money so he could start his own dojo. He does win enough money for his dojo as a runner-up and took Wang Jinrei to a draw. He is indeed married, as "Mrs. Law" is seen in Yoshimitsu's ending.

a 48-year-old Law finds success as the master of a martial arts dojo, and as the owner of a restaurant chain called "Marshall China", back in the USA. However, an incident involving a customer and some food with rival restaurant chain openings drives him to bankruptcy, and he falls into a depressed, alcoholic state. However, when The King of Iron Fist Tournament 4 is announced, he beats himself back into shape to compete in the tournament, determined to pick up his business again.

At the end of Tekken 4, after Law fails to win the tournament, he is completely broke, and he now works as a dish washer at a restaurant in Japan. Just before the events of Tekken 5, he receives a phone call from his wife in America. She informs him that Forest was badly hurt in an accident while riding on Paul Phoenix's motorcycle. During the middle of the King of Iron Fist Tournament 5, it was discovered that Marshall Law was working illegally in Japan, and as a result he was immediately deported back to America. With the deadline to pay for the damages of his son's accident fast approaching, hopes of getting the money needed were slim. However, Paul Phoenix approached him with the idea of forming a team to win the tournament; securing a high-ranking prize alone would certainly be difficult, but if he was part of a team, the probability of winning would be much higher. Marshall accepted Paul's invite to form a team with him and the renowned boxer Steve Fox.

When the King of Iron Fist Tournament 6 was announced, Law entered, hoping he would win the tournament to finish paying Forest's hospital bill. This time he has backup in Paul Phoenix and Steve Fox and believes they are sure to win.

After defeating Ganryu, she rescues her mother and returns home. However, unknown to her, Ganryu had fallen in love with her. Upon returning home, Michelle casts the amulet into the ocean so that it can no longer cause any trouble.

A couple of years later, Michelle discovers an abandoned baby girl nearby her village. She adopts the infant, names her Julia, and loves her as if she were her own daughter. When Julia grows into a teenager, Michelle teaches her Chang Kenpo and various Chinese martial arts. Later, Michelle is kidnapped by Heihachi Mishima for her amulet, which had the power to awaken Ogre with its great power and spirits. Julia had entered the tournament to defeat Heihachi and save her mother. She appears in Julia's ending, being reunited with her adopted daughter.

Michelle has not appeared or been mentioned since Tekken Tag Tournament, but the Tekken artwork book implies she may have died sometime after Tekken 3. Michelle also briefly appears in Tekken: The Motion Picture

; this was explained by Paul having witnessed as a child a martial artist called Willie Williams fighting a bear. Willie Williams is a real-life kyokushin karateka, who can indeed be seen challenging a bear in a sequence filmed as part of a documentary about Kyokushin Karate,.

Paul went undefeated during The King of Iron Fist Tournament 3,starting a feud with Kuma then he even managed to beat Ogre. He left soon afterwards, claiming himself to be the winner. However, Ogre evolved into True Ogre and the tournament continued after his departure. Having realized this only sometime afterwards, Paul became frustrated and angry. Few believed him when he told everyone that he was the true winner of The King of Iron Fist Tournament 3. After a short while, he soon turned to alcohol. Paul then heard an announcement for The King of Iron Fist Tournament 4. Paul trained vigorously and entered the tournament to prove himself once more.

Rolling through his opponents one-by-one, Paul felt excited at the prospects of facing Kazuya Mishima, whom he had not faced in over 20 years. However, he once again found Kuma standing in his way. His mind distracted, Paul did not take Kuma seriously at first, and by the time he realized his mistake, he was quickly overwhelmed by the bear and defeated. His loss to Kuma shamed Paul greatly, and he realized he had strayed from the path of a true martial artist and started his training all over again. When the fifth tournament

was announced, Paul entered to prove that he is, literally, "the toughest fighter in the universe".

Paul Phoenix's rematch with Kuma was fierce, and though victorious, he was utterly exhausted, leaving him unable to continue the King of Iron Fist Tournament 5.
Unable to collect any prize money from the last tournament, Paul, who was already burdened by his mountain of debt, learns that a new King of Iron Fist Tournament will be held soon. Believing that if he won the tournament, he could finally say goodbye to his loan troubles, Paul deeply thought about ways to increase his chances of winning—participating on his own was out of the question. If he could assemble a team with someone, his chances of winning the prize money would greatly increase. And so he went over his plan with his best friend Marshall Law - but thinking a three-man team was better than two, renowned boxer Steve Fox caught his attention.

Paul's name is mentioned in the film Tekken where he got knocked out by Marshall Law in 28 seconds.

with great interest as they grew and chose their respective paths of life. Wang remained generous and kind whilst living as a recluse in the Mishima gardens. Wang also tutored Ling Xiaoyu, his granddaughter, in the martial arts at a young age. Furthermore, Wang Jinrei took Marshall Law  on in the first King of Iron Fist Tournament, which ended in a draw. However, Wang loses to Jun Kazama in the second tournament.

Now, Wang tends to the huge number of vegetables in the gardens, finding time to hone his martial arts skill. Every morning at the crack of dawn, he can be seen strolling down the mountains gazing at the clouds. His lithe athletiscism, despite his age, has meant that his inner chi strength is channelled with great purity of spirit, despite his frail bones. His reason for entering the second tournament is to carry out the final wishes of the long-dead Jinpachi. During his life, Jinpachi watched with grief as Heihachi and Kazuya followed the path of evil. He instructed his faithful friend to eliminate both of them when the time was right. Wang theorises that the best way to fulfill this plea is to face all challengers giving way to those adept enough to defeat Kazuya and dispatches those unworthy of his attention. Heihachi will stare into the face of destiny at another time. Wang enters the fifth tournament to find out the authenticity of a letter he received, noting that Jinpachi had come back.

Wang heard of the Mishima family's cursed blood from his close friend, Jinpachi Mishima. Wang was defeated in The King of Iron Fist Tournament 5 by Jin Kazama, whose purpose was to wipe out the Mishima family's cursed blood. However, the real chaos began when Jin assumed control of the Mishima Financial Group (MFG). Blaming his failure on his indifference, Jinrei lamented his lack of action. Once again, The King of Iron Fist Tournament is held, and with newfound purpose, Wang participates in The King of Iron Fist Tournament 6

Julia Chang

studies archeology in Michelle Chang's tribal lands. As a baby, Julia was deserted in the ruins of ancient Native American settlements, where Michelle found her. Michelle rescued Julia and brought her up with love. Julia loved Michelle and her adopted tribe and trained with Michelle to protect her beloved homeland. When Julia was 18, stories of sudden disappearances of famous martial artists all over the world began to reach the tribe. The tribe knew the cause, which was contained in the tribal legends, the legend of The God of Fighters. People in the tribe feared that Michelle's pendant, the key to Native American sacred treasure, had something to do with the disappearances. With apprehension spreading through the tribe, Michelle left for Japan to ask Heihachi Mishima

why he had sought to take the pendant during the second tournament. Michelle hoped to learn about the origin of The God of Fighting's power. Michelle did not return. Julia suspected Heihachi and now seeks him out to discover the truth.

One day, she discovered that her native homeland was in danger of being covered by an encroaching desert; this was brought on by today's rapidly changing global ecosystem. Julia wanted to save her home, and she began her studies on ecosystem restoration. Julia joined an advanced genetic research group led by Professor T that studied the biological mechanism of reforestation. Professor T's research grant came almost exclusively from G Corporation. In fact, G Corporation's supercomputers located at their high security research center were used for computationally intensive biogenetic analysis and ecosystem modeling. All their project data was stored on G Corporation's file servers as well. Julia was absorbed in her daily research, waiting for the day when her work on ecosystem restoration would be complete. When her project was completed, she would save her home.

A few years after The King of Iron Fist Tournament 3, Michelle has gone missing, leaving Julia to continue where she left off. One day, Julia learned from Professor T that their project was on hold indefinitely. The Mishima Zaibatsu attacked G Corporation's high security research center and stole all their project data. Julia didn't know a thing about G Corporation's secret research projects nor did she care about them. Yet she knew that she had to retrieve her data from the Mishima Zaibatsu in order to save her home from becoming a desert in a few years time. Julia searched the net to gather information regarding the Mishima Zaibatsu. Her eyes lit up when she saw a web page announcing The King of Iron Fist Tournament 4

The ship’s security soon discovered her and informed Heihachi of her presence. By the time that Heihachi arrived on the scene, all of the Tekkenshu—Heihachi’s personal security force—that were aboard the ship had been beaten into unconsciousness and strewn about the deck. It looked as if the ship had been hit by a hurricane. Amidst the chaos, Heihachi found Xiaoyu. She threatened to beat him up if he did not accept her challenge. Amused by her juvenile antics, Heihachi roared with laughter and promised to build her theme park if she won his tournament.  (aptly named "Panda"), Heihachi teaches her to fight, much like he had taught Kuma, so that Xiaoyu would have a bodyguard. This inspired Xiaoyu to see Heihachi as something of a grandfather toward her.

After the King of Iron Fist Tournament 3, Xiaoyu continued to live, study, and train as a ward of the Mishima Zaibatsu, but her life became boring and mundane, lacking any particular goals. Two years later, Xiaoyu was delivered an anonymous e-mail admonishing her not to trust Heihachi. The anonymous individual warned her that Heihachi posed an immediate danger to her life. At this time, Xiaoyu was a junior at the Mishima Polytechnical School and had become sick of her daily routines, but receiving this mysterious e-mail rejuvenated Xiaoyu’s passionate spirit.

Xiaoyu replied to the e-mail dozens of times. Although the sender never contacted her again, Xiaoyu became convinced that Jin, who had been missing since the previous Tekken tournament, had sent it to her. Around this same time, Heihachi announced the King of the Iron Fist Tournament 4. Hoping to reconnect with Jin and unmask the Mishima Zaibatsu’s evil deeds, Xiaoyu decided to enter the tournament.

At the end of the previous tournament, Xiaoyu is rescued from the evil plans of Heihachi Mishima by Yoshimitsu, who then tells her about the tragic history of the Mishima family. Xiaoyu starts to believe that the root of all misfortune surrounding Jin and the Mishima family was Heihachi pitching Kazuya

off the edge of a cliff when he was five years old. At this point, Xiaoyu believes it is her personal mission to save the tragic Mishima family. She wished that there were some way to turn back time and fix the past. Her prayers were answered when she heard an unnamed scientist boast that if he had the money, he could build a time machine. To obtain the money to fund the invention, Xiaoyu enters The King of the Iron Fist Tournament 5 to win the prize money.

Ling Xiaoyu breathed a sigh of relief when she heard Heihachi had not truly died. However, as head of the Mishima Zaibatsu, Jin Kazama aims to take Heihachi’s life. Xiaoyu was going to try and stop Jin herself, but the Zaibatsu pushed towards militarization,
making it difficult to approach Jin. The Mishima Zaibatsu’s declaration of war drew hostility from around the globe. When the King of Iron Fist Tournament 6 is announced, Ling Xiaoyu enters in the hope that she can save Jin’s soul from evil.
Xiaoyu also has a crush on Jin due to their friendship when they were at school.

Xiaoyu is shown to have a bright personality. She is carfree at times but much like her grandfather, Wang Jinerei, she is often seroius with certain situations. Xiaoyu also show herself to be extremely serious when trying to find Jin and get him back to his old personality. She is even willing to help her friends even if it means risking her life, as her relationships with Alisa and Shin Kamiya in Tekken Blood Vengeance have shown, which would have resulted in her death at the hands of Kazuya and Heihachi if Jin had not protected her. She and Jin are both shown to care greatly for each other, though Jin is not even aware of Xiaoyu's crush on him.

Mokujin

is inspired by the Jackie Chan movie Shaolin Wooden Men. He is a wooden training dummy who comes to life in the presence of powerful evil. He has no fighting style of his own, and instead swaps between the fighting styles of the other characters featured in the game. At the beginning of a fight, Mokujin will assume another character's fighting style at random, and uses a wooden sword when he emulates Yoshimitsu, or a tail when emulating Roger. In this aspect, mastering Mokujin requires mastery of all the other Tekken characters' movesets.

Mokujin was awakened when Ogre, the God of Fighting, was released. After Jin Kazama

Sometime when Jin was fifteen, his mother warned him of an approaching evil (Ogre) and told him to seek refuge with his grandfather, Heihachi. Jin, wishing to protect his mother, tried to defend her from Ogre, but was knocked unconscious. When Jin awoke, he found his home burned to the ground and his mother nowhere to be seen.

Jin fled to his grandfather, Heihachi, as Jun had previously instructed. Heihachi made the decision to train the boy to become a powerful fighter, giving Jin hopes of exacting revenge on Ogre. Heihachi's goal, however, was to make Jin powerful enough to lure Ogre to him.

Eventually, Heihachi announced the King of Iron Fist Tournament 3 as a way to attract many powerful fighters. As planned, Ogre appeared at the tournament. Jin won all of the rounds and he faced Heihachi and defeated him. After he defeated Heihachi, he left him for Ogre to absorb his energy, allowing Ogre to unleash his full power (True Ogre).

Ogre's second form (known as True Ogre in subsequent games), is capable of using all of its techniques from his previous form as well as the abilities to teleport, fly, and breathe fire. True Ogre was defeated by Jin, and a white orb of light was emitted from its body as it dissolved.

Although Ogre was not present in the fourth game, he appears briefly in Heihachi's prologue. This explains that Heihachi devised a new plan to make himself the ultimate warrior by using the genes of Ogre that were collected after the fight with Jin. But Ogre's genome could only be integrated with the "Devil Gene", which Heihachi did not possess. He knew that Jin and the resurrected Kazuya did, so he announced The King of Iron Fist Tournament 4 to lure both of them out.

When Jin traveled to their labs, he found no trace of his mother, but instead discovered that G Corporation had either resurrected Ogre, or had simply discovered another Ogre. Beneath the labs were the remains of another ancient temple, where Jin battled True Ogre once again. Ogre fled to a deeper part of the ruins, and Jin followed it.

The deeper ruins are depicted as an other-worldly crystal-like labyrinth. The enemies Jin contended with were monsters and mutants

, who were likely minions of Ogre or guardians of the ruins. The boss of stage four is a giant contraption that uses a large white orb to attack. After Jin destroys this, it is revealed that he unwittingly broke the seal containing Ogre.

During the game's final stage, Jin battles True Ogre once again. Once it is defeated, it reveals yet another transformation. This form had new abilities to create giant whirlwinds and crush Jin under its large body, along with all of its previously used techniques. According to the plot, Jin overcomes Ogre and is attacked by Jack robots, causing him to transform into Devil Jin.

After the conclusion of The King of Iron Fist Tournament 4, Ling Xiaoyu had been feeling depressed. Panda thought long and hard about how she could make Xiaoyu happy again. Panda decided that the best approach would be to find Jin Kazama. Panda searched for Jin, but she was unable to find him. One day, Xiaoyu came to her excited. "Panda, I've decided to enter The King of Iron Fist Tournament 5, and I need your help once again". Panda didn't quite understand Xiaoyu's reason for entering the tournament, but she decided to help if it would make her happy. Later Panda was relieved to learn Heihachi Mishima still lived, but only briefly—her moment of relief past by quickly without notice with the sudden announcement of The King of Iron Fist Tournament 6.

Tetsujin

Tetsujin (鉄人 lit. iron-person) is a secret character that debuts in Tekken Tag Tournament who appears to be a silver version of Mokujin. When hit he makes metallic noises indicating that he's made out of metal. Tetsujin also appears in Tekken 5 and Tekken 5 Dark Resurrection as a training dummy during practice mode.

Tetsujin's Tekken Tag ending shows him training a legion of Mokujins.

, though it resembles Jun's. She is the final boss in both Tekken Tag Tournament and Tekken Tag Tournament 2.

Unknown appears as a woman with short, black hair and glowing yellow eyes, while in Tekken Tag 2 that her eyes doesn't glow, but her eye colors does change and has a similar eyes as her son's devil form. Her default 'costume' appears to have her otherwise nude body mostly covered in black, shiny body paint or oil, as if she had been submerged in it to her chest. Her second, alternate costume shows her dressed in the burnt, ripped remains of a white dress, with bandages wrapped around her arms, shins and instep. Some people believe that Unknown is actually Jun Kazama that was enslaved by the "Forest Demon". This is further supported with the fact that Jun transforms into Unknown at Final Stage of Tekken Tag Tournament 2.

In the non-canon PS2 game Tekken Tag Tournament, her ending shows her finally defeating the Forest Demon and therefore freeing herself. It is also worth noticing that Unknown is the only character in Tekken Tag Tournament to feature an ending sequence not rendered in the game's engine, instead using full-motion video.

Combot

is a multi general purpose robot created by Lee Chaolan (under the guise of Violet) to enter in the King of Iron Fist Tournament 4. Combot is programmed to do a wide variety of things, from household chores to military action. This design was made to be the ultimate fighting machine and was programmed to learn every fighter's style as it progressed through the tournament. It was also used to increase the chance of Lee gaining the Mishima Zaibatsu if Heihachi were to be defeated by Combot. Unfortunately, the prototype was rushed due to time constraints and a few bugs were left in Combot's data. Because of this, whenever Combot is powered up, he can only utilize one opponent's fighting style at a time during game play, and switches through them randomly from match to match, it's unknown to the player which fighting style it is using until the fight starts, though a player can tell which style it is by watching it's movements before the fight starts. For some characters, it is immediately apparent when Combot is using their fighting style; if imitating Yoshimitsu, it will brandish a sword, and if imitating King, will have a tail comparable in length to King's. Essentially, Combot is the Tekken 4 version of Mokujin.

, paid for Marduk's release using money he earned in wrestling tournaments. He had also sent the newspaper clipping and airline ticket, so that he could exact revenge on Marduk when he entered the tournament. The two met at the tournament, where King sufficiently defeated him, leaving Marduk hospitalized. Later, King paid a visit to Marduk in the hospital to finish him off, but instead spared him after noticing a photograph next to Marduk's bed showing Craig and his family.

Unable to accept defeat, Marduk trained his body to its limits. Wearing Armor King's black jaguar mask, Marduk entered a Vale Tudo tournament and challenged King after emerging undefeated. The two fought in The King of Iron Fist Tournament 5, but victory and defeat eluded both fighters, and, in defeat, they found friendship. While returning to the waiting room, Craig was attacked. Catching only a glimpse of the attacker's back as he fled, Craig could have sworn he looked exactly like the man he was convicted of killing, Armor King. Determined to learn the assailant's true identity, Craig set out with King to participate in The King of Iron Fist Tournament 6.

The ending movies of King and Craig and the second ending movie of Armor King respectively seem to be a whole video divided into three parts:
  • In King's ending movie, King is seen walking into what seems to be his dressing room towards a picture of Armor King. He looks at it for a while and accidentally drops it while putting it back, breaking the frame. The broken frame reveals another picture, which was behind the first picture, which King picks up. The movie ends after he is seen to seemingly be surprised after seeing the picture, which is seen to have two Armor Kings.
  • In Craig's ending movie, It's a rainy day as Craig is seen digging what seems to be Armor King's grave while saying "He should be dead." After opening his coffin and seemingly seeing Armor King's dead body, he says, "So then," and turns around to point at the assailant, who is dressed like Armor King, while continuing, "Who are you?", ending the movie.
  • In Armor King's second ending movie, Craig is seen pointing at Armor King as he was towards the end of his ending movie. King then walks into the scene and stands beside Craig while growling, which is translated to be, "Just exactly, who are you?" to which Armor King replies with a growl that is translated to be "I am Armor King. No one else." Craig replies, shouting, "Don't lie to me! I killed him with my own hands!" Armor King then replies with growls, translated to be "I am Armor King. But so was my brother, whom you killed!" and points at Craig. Lightning is seen in the background and thunder is then heard as if to show the level of Armor King's anger. Armor King then continues, still pointing at Craig, by growling, "I...I can never forgive you!" as the lightning and thunder reappear.

Craig Marduk's nationality seems to have been retconned between Tekken 4 and Tekken 5, going from American to Australian. He does not speak with an Australian accent, however, suggesting that Craig may have expatriated.

was announced. Steve entered the tournament, this time focusing on the destruction of the Mishima Zaibatsu's research institute, vowing that "The Mishima Zaibatsu will never make another monster like me!" Despite not winning the fifth tournament, Steve found and destroyed the research institute of the Mishima Zaibatsu, and finally settled a long-time feeling of resentment. Steve was intent on returning to the world of boxing again, but the majority of major boxing meets are cancelled by the war that broke out all over the world. Steve, who knew no other trade than the boxing ring, had effectively lost his job and his passion, and went into depression. Soon after, he received an invitation to train together with Marshall Law and Paul Phoenix. Steve, who liked the idea of training in a martial art other than boxing, accepted.

In the 2010 live-action film Tekken, Steve is portrayed by British singer/actor Luke Goss

. In contrast to the video game character, this version of Steve is an older, retired fighter with no blood relation to Nina. He witnesses Jin Kazama defeat Marshall Law in battle and becomes Jin's sponsor for the Iron Fist tournament, also becoming a friend and mentor to the young fighter. He is killed by Jackhammers while breaking Jin and the other imprisoned participants out of their holding cells.

According to IGN, at one point during development Steve Fox was once known as Dean Earwicker. He is also said to have been seen in a Street Fighter X Tekken trailer.

Armor King (II)

) by her father, a dojo-master near Osaka, ever since she was a small girl. By nature, Asuka believes very strongly in justice and devotes much of her free time to being a vigilante of sorts, breaking up fights nearby. At the time in which the game takes place, Asuka is seventeen years old and is a high school student (same high school as Ling Xiaoyu). She is also Jin Kazama's cousin.

Asuka returned home from school one day to find that her dojo was in shambles. The students there had been beaten severely and her father was so badly hurt that he had to be taken to the hospital. In the next several days, a detective from Hong Kong, Lei Wulong, came to her and explained that the culprit would likely be entering The King of Iron Fist Tournament 5. In order to get her personal revenge and redeem her dojo, Asuka enters the tournament as well.

She was unable to find Feng Wei, the man responsible for the attack, and as the tournament ended, she returned to her calm and normal life. However, her life didn't stay peaceful for long, as Asuka discovered that she was related to Jin Kazama, and he was the one responsible for the terrible war occurring all over the world. She enters The King of Iron Fist Tournament 6 in order to bring Jin to accountability. However, as the game progresses, Asuka shares little interaction or interest in stopping Jin, and when someone completes the game with Asuka, her ending leads her into another dispute with her rival Lili.

fighter. Feng severely beat Asuka's father and destroyed his dojo in his search for the scrolls. Lei is trying to capture Feng for his similar actions in China.

Feng Wei was successful in retrieving the treasured "God Fist" scroll from the Mishima Zaibatsu during The King of Iron Fist Tournament 5. The scroll merely stated, "Destroyer of all styles, the one true ultimate style, it transcends the power of the Dragon God, which exceeds all human ability." Dumbfounded, Feng Wei receives information about The King of Iron Fist Tournament 6, and, seeking more information, he once again looks towards Japan.

Jinpachi Mishima

was the original founder of the Mishima Zaibatsu and the father of Heihachi, grandfather of Kazuya and great grandfather of Jin. Jinpachi was trapped under the Honmaru by his son, Heihachi, for decades. After the Honmaru had blown up by a Jack-4 robot in attempt to kill Heihachi, Jinpachi, filled with evil energy, was able to set himself free. Regaining control of the Mishima Zaibatsu, Jinpachi announced King of Iron Fist Tournament 5.

An international intelligence agent considered highly skilled and iron-hearted, codename . Apart from a scar in the shape of an "X" on his face, his details are unknown, though according to the European Tekken 6 website, Raven is Canadian. Raven entered the fifth tournament to find out who or what is behind the event. Raven makes his first appearance in the opening movie for Tekken 5, as he witnesses the attack on Hon-Maru by Jack-4s while on a mission to look into the Mishima Zaibatsu and G Corporation, as well as the subsequent explosion. It seems that he is the first one to report of Heihachi Mishima

's supposed demise.

After The King of Iron Fist Tournament 5, Raven encounters Heihachi Mishima, who was presumed to be dead, and fought him. Before a victor could be decided, Raven received orders to return to headquarters, and he had to withdraw from battle. After that encounter, the battle between both the Mishima Zaibatsu and G-Corporation intensified. In order to prevent any further losses, Raven is sent to investigate the Mishima Zaibatsu once again via The King Of Iron Fist Tournament 6.

Raven also appears a co-star in the Scenario Campaign mode of Tekken 6. Raven first appears as an enemy boss and is defeated by Lars Alexandersson and Alisa Boskonovitch. Later on, he returns to help Alisa and Lars escape from a rampaging NANCY robot. Once Alisa turns on Lars at the order of Jin Kazama, he becomes the CPU partner in Alisa's place for the final two stages of the mode. He joins Lars to chase down Jin in the desert. With his help, Lars is able to defeat Azazel and Alisa. After Jin defeats Azazel for good, he accompanies Lars with Alisa's body back to Lee Chaolan's robotics company. Lars attempts to thank Raven for his help but he declines, offering the ominous warning "Tomorrow, we might be enemies," before leaving Lars. Following the credits, Raven returns to the site where Azazel's temple once was to find Jin Kazama's half-buried body lying in the sand.

Many have noted Raven's similarity to characters played by actor Wesley Snipes

, is considered the very symbol of fear on the battlefield whose overwhelming fighting prowess has earned him the title "The White Angel of Death". Involved in the investigation of an unknown body that fell to Earth in Siberia, Dragunov receives special orders presumably regarding Devil Jin, and enters the King of Iron Fist Tournament 5 in order to carry them out. His precise motivations and the true nature of his orders are unknown. In an in-game cutscene before his sub-boss fight against Raven, the agent says that he is "on to your [Dragunov's] organization." Tekken 6, however, reveals that he was unsuccessful in finding Jin, and he returned to Russia, where he is told that the chaos and on-going war all over the world has been caused by Jin himself, now the new owner of the Mishima Zaibatsu. Dragunov is ordered to participate in the King of Iron Fist Tournament 6 to destroy the Mishima Zaibatsu.

In the 2010 live-action film Tekken, Sergei is portrayed by martial arts actor Anton Kasabov. Like in the games, he is mute. He participates in the Iron Fist tournament, and is rather brutally defeated and killed in combat by Bryan Fury.

Azazel

as the primary antagonist. He is most likely named after the famed demon in Judeo-Christianity, Azazel
Azazel
Azazel or Azazael or Azâzêl is a term used three times in the Hebrew scriptures, and later in Hebrew mythology as the enigmatic name of a character....

.

Little is known about Azazel's history, other than that he is the embodiment of the ultimate evil guarded in a tomb by Zafina, set to be released after the clash of "two evil stars". He is also the source that created the devil gene within the Mishima bloodline, as evidenced by the tattoos on his chest, which resemble Jin's in his devil form.

Azazel looks much like the Egyptian god Set, with blue-gray skin, a large, spiked tail used for attacking, and huge spikes of ice/crystal growing out of his forearms. He also wears an Egyptian ceremonial headdress and loincloth.

Like many supernatural entities before him, Azazel appears to own the advantage of superpowered abilities over his opponents. These include a powerful stun attack (similar to Jinpachi Mishima), and eye lasers (similar to Devil Jin, Devil, and Angel). He also has the ability to summon giant crystals from the ground to attack his opponents. He can also summon scarabs to attack opponents and parts of his body get destroyed after taking too much damage.

Azazel appears in the final stage of the Scenario Campaign mode in the console versions of Tekken 6. As it turns out, it was Jin's motive all along to bring forth the creature so he may fight and defeat it (and subsequently end himself in the confrontation). By causing chaos across the globe, Jin awoke the physical form of the monster (Azazel's spirit was already resonating within Jin's psyche, being triggered by his struggle with his father Kazuya; hence the prophecy of "two evil stars"). Azazel eventually awakens but is defeated by Lars Alexandersson and Raven. After they return outside and confront Jin, Jin reveals that Azazel can only be vanquished by someone carrying the Devil Gene: indeed, Azazel erupts from underneath the ground, stronger than before. However, Jin begins to power himself up with his Devil form, making him immune to Azazel's attacks. Jin rushes towards Azazel and punches his fist straight through Azazel's chest, sending the both of them plummeting into the temple ruins below. Azazel's fate is not shown, but it is implied later that he is indeed gone.

Leo

, full name , was part of a very talented family. his father was a world-famous spelunker, while his mother served as a G Corporation executive. Although Leo's father disappeared during an expedition when he was a child, he still wanted to follow in the family tradition and become a spelunker. Leo possessed a strong sense of character, thanks to a proper upbringing. Life was pleasant and relatively uneventful until one fateful day when his mother was killed by an unknown assailant. Depressed and filled with grief, he became incensed when the police called-off their investigation quickly and without explanation. he vowed to find the truth. During his investigation, the G Corporation's Kazuya Mishima materialized as a person of interest. The G Corporation was popularized at the time as a world hero, making it difficult to get close to Kazuya, and it looked as though Leo's quest had reached an insurmountable impasse. It was at this time that news of the Mishima Zaibatsu-sponsored The King of Iron Fist Tournament began to spread. Leo learned that Kazuya Mishima was scheduled to appear in person at the event. Realizing that this may be the only chance to take revenge against Kazuya, he decided to enter the tournament.

Until Katushiro Harada revealed Leo's full name and gender at the Tekken: Blood Vengeance premiere in Cologne, his gender had been left ambiguous to the point that in the game itself, Leo was referred to only by name or gender-neutral terms and had no costumes revealing any portion of the torso.

His sister, the only person whom he trusted or loved, visited him secretly behind their parents back. Miguel cared deeply for her, to the point where he even considered killing her fiance, but not wanting to break his sister's heart he decided against it.

On Miguel's sister's wedding day, a group of jets attacked the church, destroying it and killing her. NANCY-MI847J

NANCY-MI847J is an elephantine robot and security unit who is under orders from Jin Kazama. It is very difficult to destroy and possesses an arsenal of weapons. Like Azazel, NANCY is not an unlockable character. NANCY only appears in Arcade Mode and Time Attack Mode as a bonus round before the player fights Jin Kazama.

There appear to be multiple NANCY robots, evidenced by the fact that Lars and Alisa encounter a hostile NANCY during a cinematic in Scenario Campaign. This NANCY is destroyed by Raven during the same cutscene. Another NANCY is actually made available to use in one level of Scenario Campaign (the initial infiltration of G Corporation's headquarters). The player is able to use many of NANCY's abilities to fight the legions of enemies in the G Corporation lobby and courtyard.

Zafina

is a woman of Middle Eastern origin (country unknown) who was born into an ancient bloodline of dispellers of evil. Possessing spiritual powers, she was raised as a warrior and eventually became the clan's sole assassin. She makes use her spiritual gifts as an astrologist. The sealed tomb she guards is believed to protect the well-being of the tribe. Many have tried to enter the tomb but Zafina, appointed its guardian by the village elders, has single-handedly defeated them all. The elders prophesize that when two "evil stars" meet, the seal on the graves will be broken and the world will end. In order to prevent this, Zafina departs her homeland and travels to the far east, where the dark stars are predicted to meet. The Tekken developer and Executive Producer of Tekken 6 Katsuhiro Harada describes her as "a female character from the Middle East who uses ancient assassination arts" and likened her moves to those of a spider.
