Early life & Career

Lerche grew up in Herlev

. Her father used to play guitar and this inspired her to start singing at the age of seven when she joined the Herlev School choir. At the age of thirteen she gained a place in the choir of Radio Denmark and was chosen to sing in an opera for children. Two years later she started western classical singing training and got her first professional job as a Church singer. She gained a place in the Danish Eurovision
