The Metropolis Project is an international network for comparative research and public policy development on migration, diversity, and immigrant integration in cities in Canada and around the world.
The Metropolis Project is managed by a Secretariat, located in Ottawa
and Amsterdam
. It is also guided by an International Steering Committee of representatives from over 40 countries. Howard Duncan is the Project's Executive Head.
The Metropolis Project also publishes an academic journal, the Journal of International Migration and Integration (Revue de l'intégration et de la migration internationale). It is published quarterly, in both English
and French
; its first issue was in Winter, 2000. The editor for 2006–2008 is Peter S. Li of the University of Saskatchewan

Publications
The Bridge is an electronic information bulletin which is broadcast by the Metropolis Project Secretariat. It is published once every six weeks and will contain recent activity in the 6 priority areas, upcoming events as well as featured articles. The first edition is available in December, 2007.The Metropolis Project also publishes an academic journal, the Journal of International Migration and Integration (Revue de l'intégration et de la migration internationale).
