The building located at Avenida Assis Chateaubriand, the former headquarters of Itacolomi, became the Alterosa, which became the signal relay TVS (later SBT) in the state capital. (In Belo Horizonte, VHF channel 4, which was the Itacolomi later went on to pass the Headline TV and today the RedeTV!. Alterosa SBT and is transmitted on VHF 5). Currently the sign of change is present in 834 cities of Minas Gerais, one of the most comprehensive in the state of Minas Gerais.

In 2005, led a series of celebrations of 50 years of TV Itacolomi, calling itself the successor of the former station created by Assis Chateaubriand.
