, is in need of financial assistance for urgent heart surgery she used street vendor's cart as stage for her singing stage show. Luckily she collected enough money for the heart surgery in only one show. Before she could help Lokesh, a Bangalore
based Cardiologist Devi Prasad Shetty
operated the surgery of Lokesh free of cost after seeing news on TV. But other poor parents needing funds for treatment of heart disease of their children approached Palak for help. And thus began her mission to collect funds for child heart patients by performing stage shows across India and abroad. She has learned lessons in Indian classical music
from Pandit S. N. Mishra. Palak and her parents do not receive any benefits from her charity shows. She just get one doll
as a gift from the children who have got new life because of funds raised by her. So far she has received 503 dolls representing 503 lives she has saved.She has 621 more heart patients in her waiting list.
Palak sings in 17 different languages which includes national and international languages.
