This is a list of UK universities and other higher education institutions according to the size of their student population. The source for the figures is the most recently published Higher Education Statistics Agency statistics, from 2008-2009, which list full-time, part-time, further education, undergraduate, and postgraduate students The data shows a total of close to 2.5 million people enrolled in the United Kingdom's 165 universities.
