From Yadgiri via Kandkoor near Gurmitkal one Natural water Falls called Dhab Dabi nearly 5 km from Gurmitkal.
Near Kandkoor there is a place 'Chintanalli' famous for the temple of lord 'Gavi Siddeshwara' where the lord resides in a cave with natural water flowing over the temple and falling at the entrance and thus making every devotee to have a shower before having lords blessings.
There is also a barrage constructed on Bheema river which is some 4 km away from the city well connected by road.It is a place worth to watch specially when the gates are open for water flow.

The name Yadgir (Yadgiri, historically known as Yetagiri) is derived from its early medieval rulers 'Yadavas' ruled with their establishments on a mountain known as 'giri' in Kannada. Yadavs from the present-day Andhra Pradesh. A certain Mohammed Kasim was said to be a strong chieftain who ruled Yadgir for a long period after defeating the Yadavs, though there is no historical evidence to support it. Yadagiri, historically known as Yetagiri, it is dotted with many historical monuments and has a majestic hill fort with three rounds of fortifications. There are three ancient temples, medieval mosques, tanks and wells on top of the hill. The barren landscape below offers a magnificent view.
