Mr. Spatula appears ready to take revenge on Sam and Max by starting a lava machine with the assistance of the sea simians, which will wipe out everything on the island. The two are able to make the simians recognize Max as their true high priest, but not before Mr. Spatula can start the lava machine. The situation is resolved when some quick thinking from Sam redirecting the lava flow, and therefore saving the island. After the credits the Moai head are seen being captured by a mysterious force from the sky.
