Innovation

In 2001, FAME was the first agency to open an on-site retail lab. Branded "Once Famous," the boutique was set up as a home furnishings gift store. Once Famous allowed FAME to directly observe shopping patterns and gather insights in an actual retail environment. Open for three years, the 2200 square feet (204.4 m²) store was equipped with multiple cameras and microphones and an observatory lab housed in an adjacent focus group space.
