He retired in 2006 with a record of 32 wins, 14 losses and 2 draws. In 2008, he founded Battle Group International, a promotion company. He has also established the Scottish Kick Boxing Federation (S.K.B.F.), a membership association for all the main types of ‘stand-up’ full-contact styles - Thai, High Kick Kickboxing, Low Kick Kickboxing, and K-1 Rules in Scotland.

Since retiring, Duncan has retrained as an actor and has starred in many and varied films including a small cameo in the film Perfect Sense starring Ewan McGregor
