Following initial auditions, the "bootcamp" stage took place on 25 June 2010, where each judge was first given a category to mentor and had to decide on their twelve acts after day 1 and the six acts after day 2. The categories included Under 25 Boys, Under 25 Girls, Over-25s and Groups. Following "bootcamp" came the "judges' houses" stage, where the mentors reduced their six acts to three who went on to the live finals, with one act being eliminated each week by a combination of public vote and judges' decision until a winner was found. The live shows started on 19 September 2010. The acts performed every Sunday night with the results announced on Mondays. The winner's single for the series is titled "
