The municipality is located in the Val-de-Ruz district. It stretches from the slopes of the Chaumont mountain (1270 m (4,166.7 ft)) to the banks of the Seyon river. It consists of the hamlets
of Le Grand-Savagnier and Le Petit-Savagnier.
