SBS (Korea)

Seoul Broadcasting System (SBS) is a national South Korean television and radio network. It is the only private commercial broadcaster with a wide regional Network to operate in the country. On March 17, 2009, the company legally became known as SBS, changing its corporate name from Seoul Broadcasting System (서울 방송). Seoul Broadcasting System (서울 방송) is still commonly used today. SBS TV transmits on Channel 6 for Analog and Channel 16 for Digital.

The purpose is as an attractive alternative to the spectacle that before in 1990 mastered by Munhwa Broadcasting Corporation (MBC) who was a mouthpiece of the MBC to broadcast sporting events like the FIFA World Cup 1990.  when starting from the day on December 9, 1991 since about starting at 15:00 today in Seoul coincided with the 30th anniversary of MBC and based in Seoul on this set as the "The Day of Birth of MBC and SBS" started since the year 1961-1991 was released in December 1961-1991 precisely from the date of December 9 date was designated as the "The Day of Birth of MBC and SBS".

At the beginning of the broadcast, SBS broadcast only events abroad because capital is cheaper to produce its own when compared with the cost more expensive.
