Plot

Dinosaurs have been unleashed on an old military controlled island due to an experiment gone awry. A team of mercenaries have been dispatched to contain the threat.

Dinosaur Team

Currently there are five classes of playable dinosaurs planned. Tyrannosaurus
Tyrannosaurus
Tyrannosaurus meaning "tyrant," and sauros meaning "lizard") is a genus of coelurosaurian theropod dinosaur. The species Tyrannosaurus rex , commonly abbreviated to T. rex, is a fixture in popular culture. It lived throughout what is now western North America, with a much wider range than other...

, Velociraptor

, Pteranodon

, Compsognathus
Compsognathus
Compsognathus was a small, bipedal, carnivorous theropod dinosaur. The animal was the size of a turkey and lived around 150 million years ago, the early Tithonian stage of the late Jurassic Period, in what is now Europe. Paleontologists have found two well-preserved fossils, one in Germany...

and Dilophosaurus

. The T. Rex class is intended to be the heavy hitter of the Dinosaur team, with attacks including a bite attack in which the T-rex devours it's victim, a passive trample ability in which the T-rex automatically crushes anyone foolish enough not to stay away from these feet, and a roar which blurs the mercenary's screens Big Daddy T. (named simply Raptor) is a fast and mobile dinosaur. It has a bite attack that involves both its jaws and its claws that causes a reasonable amount of damage. It also has a pounce attack which is a kind of holding attack. Death will come in seconds if rescue isn't near. The other attack is classified. Dilophosaurus has had some of its statistics released, but not all. It has a poison spit ability, which temporarily slows down the target and blinds it. It also possesses a moderately damaging bite attack that deals poison damage overtime. Its other move is currently classified. Its special features include being able to break the Trappers nets, and being immune to them. In that sense, it is the counter to the human trapper. Pteranodon is intended to be the flying class, and Compsognathus is planned to travel around in swarms, no other details for their attacks have been revealed as of yet.

Human Team

The scientist class has been revealed to be a female sniper

which specialises in taking down enemies from a long range, therefor, it is the counter to the pteranodon as it can snipe it from the air. She has a secondary fire that fires a tranquilizer dart that slows down dinosaurs and disables their special abilities such as running. Her last line of defence is her cattle prod which saps the stamina and some of the health of the dinosaurs. The Commando class is the heavy hitter of former military team of human mercenaries, and is the human counter to the T. Rex class. He is equipped with a powerful and fast firing assault rifle

that lacks accuracy. He also wields a slow reloading grenade launcher and has a very short range melee attack. In some of the concept art (found here), three other humans are visible. One, referred to as the "Pathfinder", appears to have a shotgun that is deadly at close range and is intended to support the team because it has a dog [blue heeler]that is intended to warn the mercenaries of nearby dinosaurs. It can be told to remain silent when stealth is necessary. One of the people has a raptor wrapped up in a net, and is called the "Trapper" whose nets are only able to be broken with the help of a Dilophosaurus

. He has a slow fire net gun that is able to trap dinosaurs. He also has duel-wielding pistols [a six-shooter and a desert eagle.] He also has a special hunting knife that when a dinosaur is trapped, he can do a one-hit kill with it. The final class is called the pyromaniac and has a custom made flame-saw which consists of a flame-thrower that can only be executed at near melee range. The second part of the flame-saw is a chainsaw which is the most devastating melee weapon on the mercenary team.

Old T-Rex

As with the release of the T-Rex Development Video, it is revealed that the Sub-adult Tyrannosaur is no longer available, instead replaced with the adult. However, it may be included as an unlockable skin.

Charger class

The charger class lost the war over the last position with 'The Horde Class' but may still make it into the game. Dinosaurs who where stated to be in the charger class were either:
  • Kaprosuchus
    Kaprosuchus
Kaprosuchus is an extinct genus of mahajangasuchid crocodyliform. It is known from a single nearly complete skull collected from the Upper Cretaceous Echkar Formation of Niger.
