History

Paragon Software Group (PSG) was founded in 1994 as a student hobby group. Smart Handheld Device Division (SHDD), grew in 1995 out of the localization project for the Newton MessagePad. In 1998 Symbian utilities team of developers forms Epocware, a business unit focused on Symbian platform. In 2000 the company launches the first series of SlovoEd multilingual dictionaries for mobile platforms and by 2003 the line has included more than 100 language pairs. In 2007 company's mobile dictionary line added such dictionary brands as Duden
