In the U.K. the radio edit of the song appeared on the British dance compilation album "Clubland 18" on November 7, 2010 and then was released as a Digital EP on November 14, 2010.
This song is Inna's third successful single worldwide, only beyond "Hot" and "Amazing". In Romania it is her second least successful song, being one of her only two singles not to enter the top 5.

Background

In the spring of 2009, Inna collaborated with the Romanian DJ Bogdan Croitoru for his still untitled second studio album. They decided to promote the song "Déjà Vu" undercover and sent their song to the mainstream radio under the names of Anni (backwards to Inna) and Bob Taylor. After the song became a hit in Romania

 they confirmed officially they are the performers of the song. Inna posted an entry on her blog about the release of "Déjà Vu" stating that "A good track must be promoted and listened without knowing who wrote it or who are the vocals."
The song became imidiately an ultrahit in Eastern Europe, reaching number seven on the Romanian Top 100
