The Holy Trinity Church, Bollarum, a European style church, was built by Queen Victoria in 1847. For this reason, Elizabeth II visited Bolarum to attended a service in this church on her Wedding Anniversary during her visit to India in the 1980s.

Macha Bolarum market is an old vegetable market where the villagers get their produce/vegetable in train and sell it in this market, which lies next to the railway station. It has a big bazaar

Bolarum is an educational hub of Hyderabad with many popular schools and colleges like the Valerian Grammar School, St. Anne's Girl School, The City High School and a few postgraduate colleges like Navabharathi College of P.G Studies.

The boys high school and junior collage called LRMG Laxmi Rajalingam Modiliar Government School.

It was donated by Mr Laxmi Rajalingam Modiliar who was a contractor during British ruling.

Navagraha & Lord Shiva is famous for celebration of Ugadi & Shri Ram Navami which comes every year in the month of March or April. Mahankali Temple is known for Mela celebration every year in July.Shree Saraswati Devi Devalayam in Bolarum is the oldest devalayam which has been here since 75 years,this temple initially was a bhajan mandir and is famous for basant panchami and dusherra which are celebrated with huge devotees. Hanuman Temple, Sai baba temple, Lord Shri Ram, Ganesh Ji, Bhulakshmamma Temple are other temples.

Bolarum is home to a very big Church built in European style (Holy Trinity Church), built in 1847 by a member of British Royal family (Queen Victoria), which is why Queen Elizabeth visited this church and attended a service on her Wedding Anniversary when she visited to India in 1980s.
