and the 1952 Summer Olympics and became 1954 World silver medalist in Japan
. After participating the second time at the 1956 Summer Olympics
in Melbourne
, where he reached the 4th rank, Bayram Şit resigned from the active sports.
He then served as trainer of Turkey's national team. He was invited to France
to train the French national team, helped many French wrestlers to win medals at the World championships.
Bayram Şit is currently living in Ankara
