on 10 June 1914. He was transferred to the titular archdiocese of Gerapoli on November 13, 1914. In 1922 he was appointed as Nuncio
in Belgium
, however, he could not take possession of the nunciature and was transferred to the one in Romania.
He was created and proclaimed Cardinal-Priest of Santa Maria della Vittoria
