. In 1977 he arrives to Egypt, where, in 1982, he gives birth to the Libyan Liberation Organization, joining the Libyan National Salvation Front (LNSF), the opposition in exile.

In 1984 the LSFN reivindicates the attempted coup

 against Gaddafi. After this, the Libyan government decides the creation of suicide units to kill all of its enemies, foreign and domestic, including survivors of former Libyan political parties. These units would be involved in the assassination attempt on Al Bakkoush in Cairo
