The World Karting Association, or WKA, is an American motorsports sanctioning body that organizes and promotes races and events related to kart racing. It was founded in 1971, at a time when the IKF was the only American karting organization. The WKA has over 500 local championships 18 divisional series and 5 national series. The WKA has a total of 15,000 members.
