Hoage produces roughly 2,000 cases a year of wines such as The Hedge a Syrah. The Hedge refers to a pruning technique and the fabled Hedge of the stadium at the University of Georgia. Hoage dedicated his first vintage of The Hedge to his former coach and former UGA athletic director Vince Dooley.
