Sandiway Golf Club has been used as final qualifying for The Open golf championship and is a regular venue for regional amateur finals.

Sandiway is also the home to Blakemere Craft Centre a recipe of relaxed and unique shopping set in and around a beautiful Edwardian stable block and cobbled courtyard, home to numerous craft shops offering gifts galore, beautifully handcrafted either on site or around the world. Blakemere Craft Centre also has a large indoor and outdoor childrens play area. Special events such as the Water Balls appear at Blakemere on a regular basis.

Sandiway has the major cross-roads where the A49 crosses over the A556 at the Shell service station. The Jones Homes Grange Estate was completed 6 years ago and has provided 2,3 & 4 bedroom houses in the area. Plans to extend the estate are currently in the pipeline for an additional 140 homes.
