History

Pennsylvania Route 512 has gone through many designations since its addition in 1928. They were the following:
  • PA 7 (1925 - 1930)
  • US 611 (1926 - 1933)
  • PA 202 (1928 - 1932)
  • PA 702 (1932 - 1946)
  • PA 712 (1932 - 1946)


In the 1970s, the northern terminus was moved from PA 115 in Wind Gap to PA 611 in Mount Bethel.
