. They were forced to migrate south in 3-4th century AD due to huna and other invasions. The detail about this is in ancient Chinese texts. There is ancient Indian tradition from rajasthan that says all of these tribes were purified(accepted into the high caste fold) by Brahmin priests in a fire ceremony in Mt. Abu. Parhars in Indian punjab are both Jat and Rajput.
