The English town of Osterley is not to be confused with the Tasmanian town of the same name, situated at the mouth of the Victoria Valley in the southern foothills of the Central Plauteau of Tasmania, north of Hamilton. Once a thriving community, the population today stands at less than a dozen. Items of interest in the town include the fine War memorial hall and St. James the Less Church of England.
