. They perform the lyrics written by dead German poets by using musical influences of metal and gothic.

History

The band started in 1996, when guitarist Dawe and singer Numen recorded their first songs. Their aim was to bring back to life the lyrics of dead German poets.

 starts in the year 2005 with the record deal, when they release "Letzte Worte" on Metal Axe Records (distribution: Point Music). The band continues to use poems and re-record some of the older songs.

In January 2007 the band releases in Europe again via Metal Axe Records (now distributed by: ZYX Music) the follow-up "Klage" with new songs and lyrics of dead poets.

After bassplayer Cpt. Loft leaves the band in 2009 due to personal reasons he is soon replaced by Doc. Bawin.

Style

One main feature of "Leichenwetter" is the powerful melodious voice of singer Numen who has already been part of some musicals. The music is a sythesis of Heavy-Metal
