In 2006, McCarville won the Ontario Scott Tournament of Hearts (there is no Northern Ontario team at the Scotts), and the right to represent team Ontario at the 2006 Scott Tournament of Hearts
. At the 2006 Hearts, her team finished 4-7. McCarville won the Ontario Tournament of Hearts again in 2007, and improved on her previous record at the 2007 Scotties Tournament of Hearts
. She finished the round robin with a 6-5 record and lost the tie breaker to Team Alberta, skipped by Cheryl Bernard

at the Scotties Tournament of Hearts

took place at home for Team McCarville, in Thunder Bay
. After going undefeated in the round robin, Team McCarville had an automatic bye into the provincial final. Team McCarville beat team Horgan
of Sudbury and finished the entire tournament undefeated. It was the first time in provincial history that a team went undefeated. Wit the win, she claimed her 4th trip to the Scotties Tournament of Hearts
in 5 years. At the 2010 Scotties Tournament of Hearts

, Team Ontario, skipped by Krista McCarville finished the round robin in a tie for 4th place, gaining them a tie-breaker against Team Manitoba, skipped by Jill Thurston
