of Alwar was founded. The fort knew a golden period under Ranawat Thakur Bhawani Singh (1882–1934).
The fort has recently be given on lease to the heritage company Neemrana Hotels
by Wing Cdr. Mangal Singh. Subsequently it was restored by co-owners of the group and restorers, Aman Nath and Francis Wacziarg.
The part of Rajasthan where the fort is located is also a good place for the zoologist and ornithologist amateur who want to discover the wild life of India.
