, that opened in 1969. It is classified as a 3-A school with enrollment estimated at 1100 students. The school mascot is the Warrior, and its school colors are navy blue and gold. The school recently received a Silver Medal designation in U.S. News & World Report’s “America’s Best High Schools” rankings, and had a graduation rate of 91.1%.

Eastern Wayne's mission statement is: Eastern Wayne High School will ensure that graduates have the knowledge and skills to face the challenges of a lifetime. This will be accomplished through a performance-based curriculum taught by a professional staff in a safe and caring environment. Its motto is: Armed to Succeed, Prepared to Lead.
