The band was formed in 2003 by former members of the black metal

 band Shadowland. After some line-up shuffle, they released their first demo CD a.d. 542. Later the same year the band made their first live appearances mainly in Sofia

 they plainly named Demenzia. More gigs followed. In 2006 the band was joined by Georgy Gigov (bass) and Marin Ivanov (keyboards), which meant that the band live show would now also include keyboards. The band started touring some additional cities like Varna

 with their new material, which was soon to become their debut album Different Seasons. Shortly after the release of the album in November 2006, the band appeared on the Haunted Shores Festival in Bourgas, organised by their new label IMSB&Nox Studio. In 2007 the band was more active with appearances abroad than at home visiting The Metal Healing Festival in Greece and The Red Alert Open Air in the Ukraine
