Arthur Holden Lowe was an English
tennis player.
Lowe competed in the 1912 Summer Olympics
in both singles and doubles.
In 1919 Lowe was runner-up in the Australian Open Men's Doubles with his partner James Anderson.
In 1914, he won the pre-Wimbledon
tournament at Queen's for the second time, making him the only British
player to achieve this feat, a record he held until 2011 when Andy Murray won the tournament for a second time. He won the tournament at Queen's Club
for a third time in 1925.
His brother Gordon Lowe
was also a tennis player.
