Ahlawats are said to be a very hardworking and prosperous community among the Jat clan in Haryana, Uttar Pradesh, Rajasthan, and Delhi. Before the economic opportunities in South Asia and throughout the world many Ahlawats were quite prosperous in the fields of military leadership, agriculture, and law. Today, Ahlawats are leading individuals from medicine and law to engineering and civil services.
Not only are Ahlawats descendants of Aryans in Northern India and Pakistan, but many believe that Ahlawats migrated to South Asia from Central Asia and Iran.
Today, Ahlawats are present in many nations throughout the world. This gotra of Jats as well as many other Jats have seen great prosperity and have made significant contributions in the fields they have been committed to.

Chaudhary Deegh Ram founded another village Dighal. There are 26 villages of this gotra

Ahlawats in this village were reached from Dighal
Beri village of Rohtak district now it's in Jhajjar (Jhajjar district was carved out of Rohtak on July 15, 1997). Long time ago, when a King of Punjab, who was a Sikh visited Rohtak due to some political issues, heard the sagas of bravery of Ahlawats Jats and he was impressed very much from Ahlawats and requested to go with him to his kingdom and for that he promised to provide lands and high post jobs for them in his kingdom. Then 4-5 families reached to Punjab with the Punjabi King and then Sikhism impressed those Ahlawats so much that they converted to Sikhism.
Now they are "Ahlawat Jat Sardar". Many families moved to nearby villages and Deras like Ram Nagar also known as Fardalpur and Ladwa Town in Kurukshetra. Ahlawats in Jalkheri village call themselves Jat Sikhs.
