Özlem Kolat is a classical clarinet player.
Kolat started clarinet training at the State Conservatory of Trakya University
in 1995 under the guidance of Oktay Bağırov. She was awarded the 2nd prize of International Young Musician of the Year in 1998 and the 3rd prize in 2000, in the competitions organized by Edirne Rotary Club. After completing her secondary and high school education she was admitted to clarinet class of the İstanbul University
State Conservatory by getting through the entry examination in 2001. She attended workshops with Covent Garden Royal Opera House soloists.
