Yaiya started performing at the age of 6 and won different talent shows, participated in Idol (Sweden)
2006 and 2008. Yaiya won the final in Stockholm of Swedish
Radio's Talent Show 2008 with "Sapphire Sky".
Year 2007 the biggest Hip&Hop/R&B radio station in France
released their album 'Générations 88.2', a 15 CD's collection described as the best hits 1997-2007, featuring Yaiya's song I'ma Do It (Anyway ft. NewKid). The album also featured artists like Ciara
