Biography

Vangelis Protopappas was a descended of a judge members. His father Dimitrios Protopappas was a city judge and a politician with he took part for a judge even himself in his first year at law school took part to participate in a message with an actor, he enrolled himself into the National Theatre

In the same time, his mother's death from hunger at 45 years old interrupted his career. He did not had his financial power that saved his mother, he waited from the municipality that he did until Logothetidis (which he remained in his pride for risking his prohibition of his production) which was brought an English golden lyre to pay his dues. From then, a great friendship with two men and worked together from 1947 until his death in 1960.

In that space where he acted in many theatrical plays with Logothetidis, went for performance in America and in England (in 1958 and in '58), filmed 13 movies together (many of these in Alexandria
