The first store was opened in Manchester

Topps Tiles presently have a 25% market share. Group revenue for 52 weeks to Sept 30 2006 was £180.2 million with an operating profit of £38.9 million,Topps Tiles planned to open 24 new stores in that financial period but managed to open 27 new stores.

The 2010 annual report, gave the market share of Topps Tiles as 25%, an increase on the previous year by 2%.
