He is now based in Cumbria.

Early career

His early works were of corners of the landscape and urban observations exhibiting at the RA for the first time in 1981, then the ROI in 1983 where he was a finalist in the young painter of the year award. In 1987 he exhibited for the first time at the Scottish Royal Academy and did so for ten years during which time he began exhibiting regularly at several Scottish galleries and a couple in England.

Later career

In 1989 he started painting still lifes. In 1985 he showed at the Sabin Gallery, London. His work is now only available from Beckstones Art Gallery, Greystoke, Cumbria and Jack Fine Art Beckenham, Kent.
