Show History

The show first aired on July 17, 2005 on rock station K-Rock on Friday nights before being moved to Sunday nights from 6pm to 10pm EST. When on K-Rock, the show always aired on delay, as Big Wayne or one of the many guests would swear or say something offensive which could cause the station to get fined. The show doubled the ratings for Sunday night.

 show was broadcast December 18, 2005. After the show stopped broadcasting on K-Rock, it was moved to a non-regular schedule on The Virus, beginning on April 8, 2006. The Lazlow Show stopped being broadcast on The Virus after XM Satellite Radio

Episode 43 (broadcast on 4 October 2009) was the first episode with live streaming video during the show. It was also the first not to be broadcast on Sirius XM Radio. The show went on a 8 month hiatus due to Lazlow's involvement with Red Dead Redemption. The show returned on June 20, 2010, streaming from the Anthony Cumia's "compound", it became top recommended show on ustream when it was live. Exactly five months later, episode 45 was broadcast from Anthony's "compound", as live streaming video, but the hosts did not appear on-camera.

. Lazlow is the main host of the show. He generally dictates the show, deciding when the show will be done. Lazlow often tells stories of his childhood in 'footloose' Oklahoma of not being able to dance or go the cinema due to the religion. Lazlow was asked to leave his church after attending on LSD.

 with their wives for Christmas. As of Episode 45, Wayne's deteriorating health has led the trio to believe that he has diabetes, but he cannot visit a doctor because he does not have medical coverage.

Reed Tucker

Also known as the "useless producer". Reed and Lazlow met when working for an advertising company together. He was introduced in the first episode. He is known for owning a Scooter (motorcycle)

 and often gets teased about it. Reed is also known for taking vacations with multiple men, leading to Lazlow coining the term "gay-cations". Reed had a girlfriend who was referred to as Yoko Ono

 as it was joked she was trying to break up the 'group'. Sometime between episode 23 and 24 Reed and 'Yoko' broke up. As of Episode 45, Reed supposedly has a new girlfriend. He is regularly questioned about his sexual preference, and is usually subject to gay jokes made by Lazlow or Big Wayne.

Alex Anthony

 who he is the announcer for to never return on the show. Alex makes rare guest appearances on the show but is referred to as 'He who shall not be named' or 'Alex from the dairy farm'. Alex is known for his random comments and impressions.

'Jimmy Jimmy'

Jimmy was a day laborer that Reed and Lazlow picked up from a Home Depot parking lot to be the third host for episode 3. During the show Lazlow and Reed trained Jimmy how to be a radio host. It is not known what happened to Jimmy after the show, Lazlow and Reed joked that he had either been deported or he had gone 'all Hollywood on them'.

The Lazlow Show boxset

Full downloads of the past few episodes (minus commercials) are available to download on the official site. A boxset is also available for purchase, containing all past episodes on a DVD, extra audio from the show, pictures of various guests and friends of Lazlow and a signed letter from the hosts. A batch of letters contained a stain of Cannabis resin intentionally left by Big Wayne when he signed the letter. This led to a game on one of the episodes called "Guess The Stain", where callers would try to guess the nature of the stain. This led to at least one shipped boxset to be searched by Australian customs
