Personal life

Terry George and partner Michael Rothwell formed a civil partnership on the first day upon which it was possible to do so, 21 December 2005, at 8:00am.

For the last five years George and Rothwell have hosted a charity bonfire at their castle, proceeds being donated to Cancer Research

. The castle itself featured on Channel 5's Britain's Best Home and was eventually voted the winner in a public vote.

TV series

George and partner Rothwell featured in a 6 part fly on the wall documentary titled Two Queens and a Castle. The program was broadcast on the Bio Channel and drew successful viewing figures.
