Health issues about smoking are well known and documented, but there are other practical concerns about Health & Safety issues with associated products such as refill cans of lighter gas and fluid

These are frequently abused by people who inhale the vapors from the gas/fluid as an intoxicant. This has very serious side-effects and can lead to death and should not me attempted.

Anecdotal evidence of Lighter Fluid Refills leaking can also be found online. Care should be taken when transporting such items, you should make sure the can of Lighter Refill Fluid is not leaking when inverted (and held for a while) at the point and time of purchase. Care should also be taken to store the lighter gas and fluid
