Her mother was Queen Sukhumala Marasri, 4th Queen Consort and cousin of King Chulalongkorn. She had a younger brother, Prince Paribatra Sukhumbhand, the Prince of Nakhon Sawan. She was given full name by her father as Suddha Dibyaratana Sukhumkhattiya Galyavadi

On 9 August 1906, she was given the royal title from her father as, The Princess of Rattanakosin, or translated in Thai as Krom Luang Sri Ratanakosindra . She was the only daughter whom was given the rank of Krom Luang, the 3rd level of the Krom ranks.

When she turned the age to 40 years old on 1917, she gave her own money of 200,000 bahts to the Thai Red Cross Society

, for building Chulalongkorn Hospital, to gave honour to her father. When the hospital built complete, she named the building as Suddhathip 2463 building. As present, the Chulalongkorn Hospital uses this building as the Nursing College

Later life

After her father's death in 1910, she moved from her own residence in the compound of Grand Palace to lived with her mother, Queen Sukhumala Marasri and her younger brother, Prince Paribatra Sukhumbhand, the Prince of Nakhon Sawan. Princess Suddha Dibyaratana were suffering from her sickness for all her later life, she died from Lung cancer on 2 January 1922, at the age of 44, at Chulalongkorn Hospital.
