The Stafford and Lovell rebellion was the first armed uprising against Henry VII
Henry VII of England

Henry VII was the Kingdom of England and Lordship of Ireland from his usurpation of the crown on 22 August 1485 until his death on 21 April 1509, as the first monarch of the Tudor dynasty....
 after he usurped the crown at the Battle of Bosworth in 1485. The uprising was led by Viscount Lovell and the Stafford brothers and occurred during Eastertime
