 in 2004. The group was formed by Ilham Febry aka Pepep (drummer), Dedy Sudrajat alias Pepeng (guitarist), Muhammad Charly van Houten aka Charly (vocalist), and Iman Rush (guitarist) (deceased). ST 12 name is stand for Jl. Stasiun Timur No. 12, which is the headquarters of the gathering this band

History

ST 12 was officially formed on January 20, 2004, although its members have long been in the music world. Earlier, four persons are not known each other. They often met in the studio rental in the East Station Street 12, Bandung, Pepep property. Name ST 12, which is short for Jl. Stasiun Timur No. 12 was named of the father Pepep, Helmi Aziz. They also compromise by taking the Malay stream, pop, country, acoustic and jazz, although Charly likes of jazz, Pepep like jazz and rock, while Pepeng grew up with rock music. Difficult to get a record label willing to accept them, ST 12 finally sought indie (independent). Debut album,Jalan Terbaik was released. Unfortunately, during the album promotional tour in Semarang

The success of their debut album ST 12 make glance of Trinity Optima Production. ST12 also released a second album P.U.S.P.A(2008) to made tributes to Iman Rush, who died in 2005.
