History
STAR World is the most popular English entertainment channel in India. Channel caters mainly to the urban population, 15-34 year old group people. Bulls eye target group for the channel is 24 year old working professionals. In 2011, Star India launched their HD channel on TataSky HD. Currently its available on Videocon D2H, Airtel Digital TV HD and TataSky HD.This channels also broadcasts in Bhutan, Nepal and Sri Lanka. In Pakistan and Bangladesh, this beam was replaced by the Middle East Beam due to the cultural similarities.
