Rajdeep Sardesai is the ex President of Editors Guild of India and is succeeded by T.N. Ninan. He is also a member of the Population Council. He writes columns for leading English dailies.
He is considered to be one of the best anchors

Family

He is married to Sagarika Ghose, a journalist and fellow senior editor and anchor at CNN-IBN, since 1994. They have two children, son Ishan and daughter Tarini.
