Peri Gilpin (born Peri Kay Oldham on May 27, 1961 in Waco, Texas) is an American actress.
She portrayed Roz Doyle on the U.S. television series Frasier from 1993 until 2004. Along with the principal cast, Gilpin won two Screen Actors Guild Award for Outstanding Performance by an Ensemble in a Comedy Series in 2000 and 2004.

Early life and career
Early life
Gilpin is a daughter of Jim O'Brien, a Baptist minister who became a musician and was later a radio and television news personality in Philadelphia. Her siblings, Marc Gilpin and April Gilpin, are also actors. Gilpin was known as Peri Kay Oldham before becoming an actress. She was raised in Dallas, Texas, where she graduated from Skyline High School, and studied acting at the University of Texas at Austin and the British-American Academy in London.
Career
With Frasier co-star Jane Leeves, she runs the production company Bristol Cities. Their latest project was a pilot for a US remake of the British sitcom The Vicar of Dibley, with Kirstie Alley in the title role.
Gilpin is the voice actress for the character Jane Proudfoot in Final Fantasy: The Spirits Within. She also provides the voices of Desiree in the Nickelodeon animated television series, Danny Phantom, Volcana in Superman: The Animated Series and Justice League Unlimited, Hecate in Hercules: The Animated Series, and Kate Corrigan in the Hellboy animated films. She was the voice actress for several Wells Fargo and Johnsonville Meats TV commercials.
More recently Gilpin has appeared in the television series Medium, as Diane Benoit, Allison Dubois' mother, and in Desperate Housewives. She has also appeared on Law and Order, in both the original and Law and Order: Criminal Intent. She stars alongside Teri Polo in the Lifetime movie For the Love of a Child.
Personal life
She married the realist painter Christian Vincent on July 31, 1999. The couple had twins born via a surrogate mother in 2004.
