Ngawang Jigdral Rinpoche, (b. 1982 ) known as Pemba Sherpa, is a Nyingma
tulku
and the 3rd reincarnation of Gomchen Rinpoche (Sangay Yeshey).
From early age he displayed various signs of faith and commitment towards the holy Dharma
. From early age he joined Himalaya Sherpa Buddhist School in Nepal
where he learned basic Buddhist and secular studies. Later he joined Nyingma
institute taktse, Gangtok
, Sikkim
, India (Higher Buddhist Studies and Research Center) to peruse higher Buddhist studies. In year 2008, he successfully completed the 9th year course and received his M.A. in Buddhist Philosophy
. He is now planning a three year retreat.
